BEYOND BELLY DANCE - an introduction to your Sensual Core
“Beyond Belly Dance” enables women to find a full connection to the core of their movement, access the fullness and pleasure of their sensuality and self love.
In this workshop we explore the combination of the sensual with the spiritual in the body, emotions and expression. She works with women to teach them fast, simple and effective ways to understand the shapes of their body and the power of their internal sensual energy. The movements combine belly dance with the emotional and physical awareness of what creates self-love for a woman in her body.
When a woman loves and feels herself – she can give and receive more love.
JOY OF SENSUALITY - reveal yourself with pride!
“Joy of Sensuality” creates a space for women to find how they connect to their bodies through contemporary dance.
In this workshop, we explores the combination of the sensual with the spiritual in the body, emotions and expression. She works with women to teach them fast, simple and effective ways to understand the shapes of their body and the power of their internal sensual energy. The movements are derived from belly dance and contemporary dance. The teachings reveal how the shapes of the body, expression through the hands, eyes and face hold the keys to embracing the uniqueness of your sensual expression.
MOVE with PASSION - Playful ways for Men and Women to dance and enjoy your body.
In this class, Angela shows you how to take your playful imagination into movement and dance. Men and women together learn how to be comfortable with feeling music and movement in their body. Using movement as a way to mastering your expression with respectful sensitivity and feeling.
Principles we work and play with in our Workshops
Here at Dance with Angela we work with emotional principles that teach emotional management and flexibility, while you work and play with your body, and with others, through feelings.
We work with the following principles for Men and Women:
• Getting your messages understood without words
• Listening to the messages coming from other people’s bodies
• How you can delicately encourage someone
• Understand how both women and men desire to be inspired
• How do you inspire others to treat you with respect
• Discovering the “voice” in you that creates “play”
• REMEMBERING HOW TO HAVE FUN and stopping yourself if you take yourself too seriously!
• Your relationship with yourself needs effort so you can develop the appropriate energy to love yourself and develop loving relationships with others.
• Your “innate” or natural self or true self has to clear away learnt patterns, behaviours and habits in order to understand and live from your natural energy.
• Emotional acceptance and maturity comes from connecting to your TRUE SELF – your “innate”
• Every individual has different boundaries, needs and desire with their body.
• Emotional maturity is being sensitive to someone’s body, emotions and needs.
• Emotional maturity is also being CREATIVE in finding ways to have your needs met and make others happy too.
